The warm basement

Where the systems live

The warm basement: the LV Line

Every trailer has to put its tanks, pipes and machinery somewhere. In most, that somewhere is an exposed underbelly: the tanks hang beneath the floor, the drain valves sit in the wind, and the first hard freeze of the season decides how far north you can go.

The LV Line builds the systems a room of their own. Under the living floor is a conditioned basement, inside the insulated shell. The fresh water and waste tanks, the plumbing runs and the key equipment all live there, warmed by the same patented warm-wall heat that keeps the rooms comfortable.

Winter stops being a deadline. The water lines stay inside the heated envelope, so a ski week or a snowy pass is part of the plan. You don't have to winterize every time the forecast drops below freezing, and you don't have to cross your fingers about a frozen drain.

The heat starts at the bottom. Quiet convectors in the basement warm the space first. Warm air rises through hollow, vented walls, so the floor you walk on in socks is the warmest surface in the trailer. The tanks hold a steady temperature, and condensation stays off the glass.

Everything in one place. Because the systems share one dry, protected space, service is organized and simple. Valves, lines and connections are laid out to be reached, labeled and maintained, by you or by our service team.

A quieter, steadier home. With the tanks and machinery tucked below, the raised floor gives the main room a calm, solid feel underfoot.

It's the part of the LV Line you'll rarely see, and the reason the rest of it works in every season.
