Ultimate Off-Grid Technology
Since 2017, Living Vehicle has reimagined what mobile living can be—blending modern design with advanced off-grid technology. From our first 30 handcrafted units to today’s fully customizable luxury trailers, each generation builds on the last, redefining freedom through innovation. Here’s a detailed look at the key features, innovations, and milestones of each Living Vehicle generation.

GEN 1: 2017 – 2019
The foundation of the Living Vehicle brand, GEN 1 trailers proved the concept of full-time luxury mobile living. Produced in small batches, these original units emphasized durability, minimalist design, and essential off-grid capability.
- Production line ran from 2017 (company was founded) to early 2020
- Introduction of the first LV model, the T-27, and later the expanded T-28
- Production line ran for approximately 30 units
- Mill-finished exterior skin (uncoated raw aluminum) defines GEN 1 models
- Energy systems were standardized, with limited battery pack sizes, a mix of Lithium and AGM, and smaller inverters in the 3kW range with 600 watts of solar
- Aluminum-framed, dual-pane windows, easily identified by the square silver framed windows
- Multiple deck configurations: Standard LV deck, fold-down version, and clamshell style with split deck and overhead section
- Wood subfloors in the raised flooring section
- Structurally insulated panel installed on the underside for cold weather protection
- Units were pre-configured with standard equipment—very few options available
- 2” exterior walls with aluminum studs and foam board insulation between studs
- Fully welded aluminum chassis and frame
- Many of these units have been upgraded with new energy systems, features, and technology

GEN 2: 2020–2022
A significant step forward in both structure and systems, GEN 2 marked the shift from GEN 1 models to customizable trim levels. New materials, refined construction, and better thermal performance defined this generation. Architectural refinement in engineering and production quality led to a commercial-grade shell and chassis.
- Production started in mid-2020 to 2022
- Introduction of the HD product line—featuring a 29-foot travel trailer with front bedroom, mid-bath, and rear living space
- Introduction of COR, MAX, and PRO trim levels, with models versioned with pre-defined options, distinguished by energy system capacity (solar, power, battery storage)
- Ability to select limited options in the production line, enabling custom-configured units
- New manufacturing system with improved capabilities and expanded production capacity
- Introduction of new engineering methodology and extreme attention to construction quality
- All-aluminum chassis with proprietary tongue-and-groove integrated aluminum decking
- Exposed structural I-beams under chassis and introduction of automatic leveling systems
- Aluminum chassis with steel-reinforced high-load areas (axle box frame and A-frame hitch)
- Introduction of new floor plans, including the mobile office/bedroom system
- Seamless all-aluminum roof with integrated rivets along the curved trim piece
- Backup power generation and advanced off-grid energy systems with remote monitoring
- Introduction of anodized aluminum exterior sheets
- Exterior walls expand to 3” thickness with continuous 2” rigid foam insulation for improved thermal performance
- Custom-manufactured hatches and dual-seal entry doors
- Frameless tinted windows with rounded corners—a visual hallmark of GEN 2

GEN 3: 2023–2024
With a focus on advanced energy systems, efficiency and performance of onboard systems, water independence, and custom configurability, GEN 3 elevated the comfort and performance of Living Vehicles. It also marked the debut of new models and advanced HVAC technologies for all-weather endurance.
- Started in 2023 through early 2025
- Introduction of the HD24 product line—six feet shorter than the HD30, with a large front closet, mid-bath, and rear living space
- HD29 model line discontinued and evolved into the HD30
- Removal of the traditional “RV Style” rooftop air condition enabled the innovation of dual-solar awnings, doubling rooftop solar capacity
- Introduction of mini-split HVAC systems with ultra-efficient electric heating and cooling
- Redesigned front bedroom expanded by 12” with central closet layout and “north-south” king bed
- Launch of water generation technology (up to 5 gallons per day)
- Alternative waste systems introduced, including compost toilets and expanded gray water tanks
- Advanced water filtration with nano-technology and UV light treatment
- Significantly expanded custom options—units were highly tailored to individual customer needs

GEN 4: 2025–Present
The most advanced generation to date, GEN 4 brings major architectural and system improvements to both the HD line and newly introduced GT series. This fourth generation showcases peak autonomy with next-gen water, solar, and off-grid design capabilities.
- Launched in 2025—current and most advanced generation
- HD series (HD24 and HD30) continued with refined designs and structural updates
- Launch of GT Series: GT32 and flagship GT39, Living Vehicle’s first fifth wheel (or gooseneck) product line
- GT solar awnings moved to side mounting, maximizing solar exposure—up to 7,020 watts on GT39
- Advanced atmospheric water generation system launched with new partner
- Standard AWG output of 9–13 gallons/day for PRO models across all product lines

Coming Soon: CT Series
The CT Series marks Living Vehicle’s entry into the travel trailer market—lightweight, rugged, and highly capable off-grid. Designed for flexibility and energy generation, the CT Series blurs the line between mobility and sustainability.
- Pre-launched and in development
- Resource-generating travel trailer built for on- and off-road adventures
- Up to 5,000 watts of solar, full atmospheric water generation, and intelligent systems management
- Rear deck redesigned for toy-hauler functionality—ideal for e-bikes and adventure gear
- Living Vehicle product line now split into two categories:
- Living Trailers (HD & GT): Full-time living, heavier, high-storage, long-term off-grid
- Travel Trailers (CT): Lightweight, travel-focused, towable by half-ton ICE and electric tow vehicles
